Having learned to live with a ‘life-threatening illness’, I believe passionately in the empowerment that coaching brings. My clients have the inner resources to get the best out of their lives, even when the future is uncertain.
Issues most frequently causing concern for them include:
- Wanting to feel ‘normal’ and ‘in control’ – dealing with their own and others’ expectations
- Living with cancer – meeting the challenge, staying motivated and moving forward
- Living with disability –getting the very best out of life
- Living with long-term illness – meeting the challenge, becoming more confident and achieving one’s potential
- Providing care and support to an ill relative or friend – gaining inspiration from the coaching process and improving one’s own life.

In all cases, we explore all the options available and identify actions that are appropriate for you. In the early stages post diagnosis these may be ‘short-term’ to provide support and to enable you to cope better. Coaching enables you to review your life, identify what is important and to make changes that are right for you.
