Parent Coaching Workshop Topics

All workshops are tailored to meet the needs of the specific group and individual programmes can be devised on request.

Popular workshops include:

Having the Best of Both Worlds – a workshop for working parents. This enables the group to reflect on all aspects of their lives as working parents and to devise strategies so that they can more effectively cope with all the demands on their time and achieve a better work/life balance.

After Divorce – making a Fresh Start. Parents going through divorce often feel isolated. This workshop provides the opportunity to share experiences with others in similar situations; they explore the challenges they are facing, and devise action plans that are right for themselves and their own families.

Teenagers in the Housethe majority of parents of teenagers worry whether they are doing a good job. As children get older, there are fewer informal networks and parents can feel isolated and alone with their concerns. This workshop enables them to share experiences with others, to gain support and to identify what they can do that is right for their family.

Making Years Count - a workshop for Grandparents who want to retain their lifestyle whilst supporting the ‘little people’ in their lives. Grandparents are key people in the wellbeing of a family, often contributing significantly to the family’s childcare arrangements. This workshop enables them to share experiences and to identify actions so that they can not only provide support to their families but balance this with other interests too.

Other workshop topics include ToddlerTantrums and Parent Behaviour and issues around the daily ‘hotspots’ of family life.
